Mine did the same thing actually. I have the PC Dos 2000 version and wanted to install 95 or 98 to use some games I have still.. Couldnąt do it, so I had to install Dos, increase the size of the virtual drive, then booted VPC. Installed off my Win 95 CD then upgraded to 98 SE.. Worked okay then. Still going okay now although I still cant get it to use my ethernet and connect to the internet.. My Win2000 cd works fine, but thatąs cause you can actually boot from it. But Win2000 was a little too cumbersome for the Mac.. But then again that was my G3 350, wonder if the G4 800 will do any better.. > I just installed VPC 5.02 dos version on my blue & white and can not get > a new OS (95 or 2000) to autorun to intall the OS on the hard disk > image I created. When I start the Virtual Machine I get - no OS found > Please install a OS on ths hard drive. When I insert the bootable CD it > mounts on my Mac desktop but will not open on the virtual machine to > install. Anyone else having this problem or know what I am doing wrong. > > Dave >
