At a minimum, you should a bigger hard drive. Depending on what your drive
configuration is (CD/HD only?) and the ROM revision you have, you *should*
be able to add another hard drive. My beige 266 MT came with Zip/CD/HD and I
added a second HD with no problems. I have the Rev B ROM.

For backup, I followed a friend's advice and bought a used DAT drive on eBay
for less than $50. Using Retrospect, backups are virtually transparent to
me. I only need to change tapes occasionally.

I tried CDRW, but could never get Retrospect to work with it. Anybody else
get this to work?
