Use the Energy Saver Scheduler to automatically switch the G3s on and
off each day. If the monitors are plugged into the CPUs they'll come
up and down with the computers. I have mine set to start up at 5.30am
week days and shut down at 11pm every day. (I've also got a relay in
the monitor supply that turns the external hard disc, CDRW, hub,
router, amplifier, printer etc on and off at the same time.)
Note that if some student has left an unsaved document on the
desktop, the application will wait for a confirmation to save the
item and block the auto-shutdown. If you want to be extra careful,
someone will have to pop their head in at 5.35pm or whenever to make
sure they have all gone bye-byes.
