Wrong keystrokes (actually cmd-opt-P-R); but aside from that, as I wrote, Techtool Lite is free too, and it does restore the elapsed time since activation, which doesn't affect any operation but is nice to keep track of, like your total mileage. Its docs claim its zap is more complete than the keyboard method, people keep recommending to zap the PRAM 3 or more times, with Techtool just once works. It also has several other diagnostic and repair features which make it worth the download. >What is lost?
