I do have OS 9 and OS X in separate partitions. I've always liked it just from a 
simplistic 
point of view. Having OS X and OS 9 together creates a cluttered mix of folders. Much 
better to keep them in separate partitions. One thing I will say too is that I never 
use NDD 
to look at files; just directories. But I think I will  stay away from NDD, in any 
case, for the 
time being, since others have had troubles with it.
