I finally got a friends 9.0.? from his Imac to boot the BW. Im more certain now that the problem lies in the jumpers, because when I unplugged the power supply from the HD and retried to boot from the CD it did just fine. then I plugged the HW power supply back in and nothing but a flashing folder icon as below.
I know little to nothing about jumpers but it doesnt seem both should be set to master if they are on the both IDE chain even though one is a HD and the other is a CD/Rom. still kinda stuck.
