I have a couple of silly questions, but in looking through some of my
folders, I noticed that I have some files in Apple Extras such as Hyper
Card, and Location Manager, that I don't recall ever using or ever coming up
via a search or anything. I also have an "Open Transport" Folder and
Internet Config. Folder in my applications folder, both of which I believe
I've had since I used to have OS. 8.6, ages ago. I thought Internet Config
and Open Transport was installed as a part of 9.2.2 and no longer had a
separate folder. Does anyone know for sure? Do I need these files? Is it
O.K. to remove them from the HD and extensions folders? I also have so many
extensions, some of which date back as far as 1995 and 1996, and I'm running
9.2.2. Almost every piece of 3rd party software or program that I have
installed is the latest version. I'm trying to get the "Updater Program" to
work, it's never worked since I installed 9.0 and through the upgrades. It
works fine in 10.1.5, just not in 9.2.2. I have 2 hard drives, one is
exclusive to 9.2.2 and the 2nd hard drive is exclusive to 10.1.5. I was
told that I may have an old program or extension that is in conflict with
the Updater and that's why it won't run. So, I thought I'd do a little
house cleaning. I'm just not sure which items are safe to throw out.

Thanks.
