>From everything I have heard about OSX it is not that faster than 9.2.2 at the things I would be doing as a Graphic Artist. I suppose things will improve as all the software catches up, but in the meantime, the only reason I would have OSX is to learn it so I am prepared when all the software does catch up. Production is my main concern at this time. I would like to get a faster machine, though. I am using a 233 G3 and a 266 G3, and I suspect I could do much better in the speed department. I am not that interested in installing OSX on one of the G3s. My question to the list is: Can I buy a new G4 and just install 9.2.2 on it and forget OSX? Will the machine allow me to do that?
