Like most companies, Apple provides as much technical support as they must. When I was a Mac manager, I found sites such as MacFixIt and MacInTouch invaluable, along with the Low End Mac email lists and the stellare Mac-Mgrs email list. The best support comes from users, not corporations. That's true whether you're into computers, audio equipment, cars, or cameras. The users so often know more than the technicians and programmers and help desk folk. The beauty of the Mac is the community that springs up to support people, along with the handful of people who can dig to the root of the problem and discover design flaws, program glitches, etc. -- Dan Knight, president /"\ ASCII Ribbon Campaign Cobweb Publishing, Inc. \ / No HTML/RTF in email http://cobwebpublishing.com X No Word docs in email / \ Respect Open Standards! <http://maccentral.macworld.com/news/9910/27.deb.shtml> -- G-List is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
