I never realized that and always thought, for some reason, it was the graphic card. There are some odd looking things on the sound card and wonder what they are for? You learn something everyday. I wonder if you can you put other type of sound cards in there? I won't see my friend for awhile, so I will not have anyway of check that now. Are they known to go bad? I will have to research that. -- Mohamad Hammad <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > Perhaps the 3.6V internal battery needs replacement. I have several batteries and they all tested out as 3.6 at radio shack. I am tempted to get a brand new one but wonder whether it has any bearing on whether it would bong or not. It starts up without any problems without a battery. They are $10 and would like to know it that can cause to not have the bong sound. >> > I do not get the Bong sound, at startup, nor at > > zapping the pram nor can I get sound at all.
