I saw one on ebay and it was saying it is a pds slot
for a beige g3 tower.

I did take out the memory that was in there. But my
problems appears to be worse. I put in 2x32mb ram that
I had from before, as I suspect there are problems
with the ones I had in there. But I was just on the
net and all of sudden, the computer just froze. So
it's hard to say. It does appear if I buy a
motherboard, I might have to purchase this sound card
anyway. I guess that depends.

I did all those things you mentioned. It's a shame. I
had lots  of quality memory in there; over 500mb
worth. But it still may not be the memory and
something with the motherboard, itself. I can't test
the memory. The PC I have requires PC 133.
