I couldn't get Ryan Rempel's software to work, either. Perhaps he's working on a more friendly version?
There are at least 2 other products, Sonnet and XLR8. I don't know what Sonnet's software does with other ZIF upgrades. XLR8 is out of business, requires a registration code, installs far more stuff (and is harder to remove) and wasn't updated for 10.2.
