Hi, all, My boss wants me to decide what brand of 20 gig IDE hard drive we should list on the upcoming tech requisition. She says as I will be doing most of the work with them I could get a dozen or so of the one I think is best.
I will be using them in both PCs and Macs. I usually have to go an extra step or two to format Western Digital. Other than that I have no great preference. Of course I also have no great knowledge of any particular brand being better than another. What about it? Is there anything like a consensus as to "good", "great", "avoid at all costs"?
