The drives can be seen if I attach either one to the drive controller on the motherboard.
The cards can be seen by System Profiler. In both cases, the drives cannot be seen by System Profiler, or by Disk Utility, or by System 9's Disk Setup, when hanging off the ACard. Do you REALLY think that two identical cards I got from different sources are *bad*? I suspect that they are good, but not for this machine / rom combination. Anyone think maybe I should upgrade Rom or something?
