>OS X will always be a 'beta' for earlier G3 machines. I suspect that they are beta's for any machine but earlier G3's will probably not be considered as much. It seems some computers have improvements while others have problems. I had printing problems in 10.1.4 which were not correct with 10.1.5, so I reinstalled back to 10.1.3 and stayed there till Jaguar; I started having scsi problems with 10.2.3 which even affected OS 9.2 but 10.2.4 seems ok for me for now. I keep hoping that an update will fix my multiple monitor problem where volumes line up half on each monitor but no luck. I'm just about ready to get a new graphic card.
It seems wise to not update if your not having problems because what can a minor update really do for you? I noticed a clear warning regarding 3rd party hacks but luckily Fruitmenu, ASM and Minimize in place still works. ===== __________________________________________ alternate e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Sig: Specs: Beige G3 DT/466mhz, OS 9.2.2 & 10.2 __________________________________________________ Do you Yahoo!?
