I'm pretty sure I've read somewhere that an overly long connection cable can cause hassles with slave drives in G3's. I've been trying to find the pages I saw, so I can include on my site, but no luck so far. I think the suggestion was a short cable, and relocating the drive. Is anyone able to confirm this please?
