In my case I just left the cover off because my computer is slided into
an hole in my desk.

The arrangment is the following:

Sitting on top of the standard CD-ROM, a CDRW held in place with tape
(I put a piece of thin white foam, you know the one used for packing
between the drive to prevent vibration). The total height is just lower
then the chassis. Then of the left, my new HD with the standard
mounting bracket and on top, my ZIP and my floppy drive (same
arrangement with a piece of foam between and tape to hold everything).
I forgot to mentionned that you need to remove the plastic partition
that makes a wall.

All of this is reversable if ever I want to sell the computer in the
original configuration. This is why also, I didn'y want to make a
cutout in the cover.

I wanted to included two small pictures for a better comprehension but
we are limited to 10k per message on this forum. If you want send me
your e-mail and I will send it directly to you.
