Can anyone suggest to me a good source of instructions for setting up a home network? I have my beige G3 MT, my kids' iMac (the box said airport ready but I don't know what that means, does it have a card? How can I tell?) and an old Airport base station my sister bought off of ebay (with 1.1 software).
I had read that I could hook the base station to the beige G3 with an ethernet cable and then set it up remotely from the iMac but I can't find where I got that information and my attempts at zen networking have failed.
