"Airport Ready" simply means it has the internal Airport slot. If you actually have an Airport card (plus the extensions) loaded it should appear as an available ethernet port to configure in the TCP/IP control panel. If it doesn't have an airport card, giove the base station back to your sister, and get yourself something like: <http://www.compusa.com/products/product_info.asp?product_code=50002504&pfp=BROWSE> Get an ethernet cable for each computer, and plug em all together. Then you should be able to enable file sharing on each system, go into chooser and see each other.
