I loaded XP Pro on my girlfriends 5 year old ThinkPad PII 333mhz with 256MB
RAM and it ran fine. What it didnt like was the 6GB Hard drive. I had
partitioned it and tried to squeeze the installation on the 2.5 GB slice and
it kept throwing "Not enough Hard Disk Space" errors at me, though MS
insists the install takes up MAXIMUM 1.5 gigs. Somehow (as it always seems
to be with PC's) it just worked and ran smoothly and sprightly until it got
stolen 2 months ago (hence my purchase of the 12" PB I'm typing this on!!!!)
