The film speed of 64 will not have as much grain as 400 and therfore can enlarge more without grain. Jagged edges (digital) or grain (film) when enlarging is a give and take for the final product. The trick is finding the sweet spot between size and quality.



That all depends on your definition of photo quality..... I happen to use
Kodachrome 64 for my underwater work and can make prints to 16x20 and you still
can't see grain. I'm about to venture to 20x24.... Then again some people's
auctions on eBay claim to have photos..... fortunately you still need to have
some ability to make 'quality' photos :-)
