Q1: Is it really true that the only way to get a 250 GB drive on my computer is to spend $69 plus shipping for one of those outrageously priced cards? (ie: anyone see anything cheaper?)
Q2: What's the cheapest/oldest mac that will recognize a 250GB drive?
Q3: What is a good reference for setting up a cheap used pentium server and can I do that with reasonable ease having not done PC networking for five years or so?
