Thanks for the info Wade.  That's what I'm looking for is input.  I'm a
complete mac newb, so it's all new info to me.  I'm just trying to figure
out the most bang for my buck.  I want to run OS X and have USB.  I want
something that can be upgraded without huge expense (processor, ram, hd,
video, etc.)

I was only asking about the AGP because I have a decent AGP card, or at
least that's what got me thinking.  I have prices on several B&W's, purely
for the reasons you spoke of.  I just thought I'd go ahead and step up to
the G4 and AGP.  If the video is not a major performance bottleneck on the
macs, I suppose I don't need it?

I'll have to look for prices on a DA, if they are close in price to the
Sawtooth, I'll get that.  Basically, I want to start off with something
decent that I can run the latest OS, use my existing USB accessories
(camera, printer, etc.) and be able to install a CDRW or DVDRW at some
point.  I want to spend the least possible to give me something that I can
use daily and enjoy.
