Thanks for the info Wade. That's what I'm looking for is input. I'm a complete mac newb, so it's all new info to me. I'm just trying to figure out the most bang for my buck. I want to run OS X and have USB. I want something that can be upgraded without huge expense (processor, ram, hd, video, etc.)
I was only asking about the AGP because I have a decent AGP card, or at least that's what got me thinking. I have prices on several B&W's, purely for the reasons you spoke of. I just thought I'd go ahead and step up to the G4 and AGP. If the video is not a major performance bottleneck on the macs, I suppose I don't need it? I'll have to look for prices on a DA, if they are close in price to the Sawtooth, I'll get that. Basically, I want to start off with something decent that I can run the latest OS, use my existing USB accessories (camera, printer, etc.) and be able to install a CDRW or DVDRW at some point. I want to spend the least possible to give me something that I can use daily and enjoy.
