If I really like using the Mac, I will want to convert all of my stuff to macs including my main server which runs my web server and email server, plus 250G of RAID5 file storage. What do you think is the lowest I could get away with to replace my current server with a Mac? I of course don't care whether or not it's got AGP since I don't do any work on that box. Right now it's just a 600mhz intel running Windows 2000 Server. So it's no speed demon. I'm just curious as I have a feeling I'm really going to like my mac. I've always wanted one. You have to keep in mind that I was in the computer industry for 15+ years, ending as a Director of IT. I've done networks, software development in many different languages, many databases, etc. So a lot of people come to me with computer questions. When I have told some of them about my wish to give macs a try they all say "Why?" I told them that the mac crowed is VERY dedicated and loyal...they are that way for a reason...so there must be something to it. I'm going to find out.
