Hi there, me again. In getting my new-to-me B&W G3 ready to roll, I just
realized that I don't think I can use the printer with it. I have been using
a Personal Laserwriter LS which I bought new in '91 and has been fine up to
now, but it only has what I understand to be a serial connection (looks
kinda like a slightly bigger ADB plug). But the G3 does not seem to have a
serial port, just USB. I also have an Epson Stylus Color 740 (also serial
only, I believe) which I have not used in a year or so but worked fine too,
and a Laserwriter IIg which I was given some years ago but have never used.
The LS fits pretty well in the space I have available, the 740 would also,
though despite the loss of color I prefer the LS's print quality; the IIg is
too big to go where I would like it to. Is there a serial/USB adapter of
some kind I could get? Or what other solution could I look at short of
buying yet another printer (for which I do not have the money anyway)?

As always, my thanks for your help and patience with simple-minded
questions.
