Greetings all,

If this is a working solution (as it should be) my only additional
suggestion is to when making the disc image, to select "uncompressed" making
the file a tad faster to mount when launching it. I bet compressing the CD
image would not save you much file space anyway.

In my experience:
 I had a Performa 6320 that read burned CDs just fine; however, I had
swapped the OEM (4x SCSI, iirc) drive for a newer Apple 12x drive.
Conversely, my beige G3 tower sitting next to it (w/ a 32x IDE drive),
wouldn't mount burned CDs at all - I was told that that was an initial sign
that the drive was on its way out.
