Looking for a printer which will work in OS 9, Jag and Panther.
Currently have an Epson Sylus Photo 700 (USB/Serial 6 colour/B&W inkjet) but, despite being supported by Gimp Print, it won't print under X. I'm not "sold" on Epson, but...
Any suggestions? Real-world experience preferred. And yes, please, I do want to retain OS 9 compatability...at least for now -;)
I had Epson Stylus Photo 700 and it worked perfectly with GimpPrint under OS X (10.2). Maybe you should try re-installing GimpPrint (starting with Ghostscript ESP) before giving up on the SP700.
