Kathi5/7/04 7:39 PM I am not sure if this problem would go away with OS X, but in using 9.2.2 when downloading pdfs or just printing from the web page, I sometimes am unable to print. Especially with pdfs. I have Acrobat reader 5.5 on both my G3 w/ OS9, and my PC with W98. The PC prints out the pdfs that the Mac wouldn't. Same thing with some web pages, for instance on Government pages that I need to print out a form. I would prefer to use the Mac 100% of the time, but unfortunately, there are enough sites that are not 100% workable with my Mac G3. When I run into this, I always complain to the webmaster, but I don't think the world is going to change for 5% of the users. So I use both platforms. Using both platforms is smart especially if you work at a large company that uses PCs for everything except Graphics and some use PCs for that. Gotta be prepared to succeed in the work world. The more you know about both platforms the better off you will be. It is not a matter of preference, just a matter of survival.
