Is there Camcorder that has Pas through from anlog to digital so you

I have a Canon zr40 that has a built in ad/da converter that does a perfect job
in real time. I've seen it advertized for under $400 US but it is now
discontinued.

Apparently the later zr series, which are the low priced Canons, dropped the
feature but I'm not sure which model is the last to have it. I know the earlier
zr30 didn't have it. I browsed a bit at a local Best Buy and found the feature
on a current Canon Elura (I think it was) but not on the current zr-80. So it
is still out there.

It is not a feature that is usually advertized. On my zr40 you can find it in
the VCR set up menu as "AV*DV Out" but there is no mention of it on the outside
of the camera. In fact it is a full fledged ad/da converter that will take
digital signals over the firewire cable and output them in analog in real time
too. Very useful for previewing edited video on a video monitor or making
analog tapes.

Apparently there are Sony cameras that have this feature too. It would be very
useful to have a complete list of camera models that have it.
