I wanted to ask on another list about the CamCorders
with the analog to digital feature. I recieve the
Digital Imaging newsletter to stay abreast of
photography and technical advances. When I wrote
and asked these questions, this was the reply I
recieved._______Am I asking the right questions???

>As I progress with my Mac G3(which has the "Wings"

Yes, you can't get around it. You _have_ to convert
those analog videos
to digital data to work with them on a computer.

Any digital camcorder with a VCR function will do the
job (but your A/V
card may do it too, you know). You just cable from
your VCR to the
recording device (digital camcorder or card), start
recording and press
Play on the VCR. The result is a digital recording of
your analog tape.

Hope that helps.
