Hi Guys,
Is there anyone out there who has overloaded the ADB port on their B&W box with too many keyboards/adapters/whatever? What, exactly, happened?
The ADB devices became unreliable.
If the draw is too heavy, the Mac will crash when the ADB driver loads during boot.
I'm about to do some silly/stupid/possibly dangerous things with my ADB port and wanted to see if anyone else had succeeded in blowing up their box before I blow up mine. [gives "thumbs up" sign]
Keep in mind that ADB devices are NOT hot-swappable. DO NOT plug in or unplug an ADB device unless the computer is completely shut down.
- Dan.
