Thanks Danielle. And all the rest of you who responded to this thread. Very helpful.
It would seem that finding an OS 9 CD is like finding GOLD. Methinks Apple knows this and is purposely not making more - in order to drive the price up - and force users to upgrade. Not quite a Gatesian move...but a firm business move nonetheless. Would seem to me there would be a MAC underground of sorts somewhere. A local users group in the Hampton Roads, VA area. I will seek them out. But I think I will definitely hit the swaplist. I think I will definitely find what I need there. I just signed up. I will be looking for 256M RAM upgrades. X3. I will put at least 512MB in each G3. Now where to find the PC100 256MB SIMMS for the decent price. Off to the traders I go. Thanks to all who responded. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Danielle" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: "G-List" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: Friday, October 29, 2004 8:40 AM Subject: Re: Some Apple Upgrade questions..Help me out, please. > You might try http://mac-pro.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc? .
