You can put all of the pieces on a CD and install from it easily, however, you won't be able to boot from that CD unless you have an install of some version of the OS on the CD as well.hey out there,
i have a number of machines i'm need to re-install system 7.5.3 on. i've
found and downloaded the 19 part floppy disk size files from
http://www.info.apple.com/support/oldersoftwarelist.html
the thing is, is there a way to 'combine' these so:
1 - i don't have to buy 19 floppy's and copy the files to them!
2 - i can put the whole thing on a single installer cd and use that?
i did wonder if there was a complete 'cd-image' style version out there but as yet i haven't found it...
If you need, I think I've got a custom 7.5 install CD around here somewhere that had 7.5.3 the 7.5.5 updaters and installers for some server software. It was for my IIci servers that I have. I think the CD will work for PPC machines as well. Contact me off list and I'll see if I can find it. If so, I'll be happy to post an image of it so you can make a copy. (The sever software would need a license, it's all shareware. Probably outdated as this disc is a good 2 years old.)
