Install FreeBSD on the Windows machine. It's sole purpose in life will be from this point forward to be a print server. Install the CUPS port, now the box is using the same print engine as OS X, including Ghostscript, so even if the printer doesn't spricken de Post Script, you can use it. Now, plug the printer into the PC, fire up OS X on the G3, and setup a network printer.

Or, wipe 98, install a clean locked down install of NT/2k/XP (Or 98 again...), setup the printer, and just let OS X do it's samba thing and print direct to the windows share.
