I work in an office with a variety of printers that I was told my powerbook couldn't print to. I can print to all of them. It takes a variety of tools and work-arounds, but I can print to an HP Laserjet 5, an HP Laserjet 8000 series, a Canon Image Runner 6000. Check to see if the printer is supported by GIMP-PRINT. <http://www.cups.org/> if so, the only thing stopping you is the Parallel port. Print servers are dirt cheap, there are USB->Parralel converters, or use SMB to send the print jobs to the PC to print.

We have three printers here at work, and only the one
in my room is PostScript compatible. As the sole Mac
user I cannot even dream about printing to the other two.
