I completely agree with you. Up until yesterday, due to the way my
beige G3 was set up, I was stuck with OS 9 and didn't like it. Now I
have a "new" machine that, even though it has factory configuration
(PCI G4/400, 10GB, 128 MB RAM), it is running 10.3.8 flawlessly, thanks
to a swapper.

I hate Windows (more than some of you will ever imagine),
but I now realise that I actually dislike OS 9 too.
