Plainly to do this it's first going to be necessary to get a dual drive IDE cable, but there has been so much talk about data corruption in this system (this machine turns out to be a Rev 1, alas) that I'm wondering if it's even worth trying: maybe it would be better simply to replace the existing 6GB with the 10GB? The idea is to move into OSX. Any advice much appreciated. Best, Victoria Hi Victoria, To put a second HD in your G3, add a Sonnet Tempo ATA133 ($97) PCI card. I have the same Mac. I would replace the 6 with the 10 GB for the extra space. Circuit City is selling 160 GB WD HD for $119 after rebate. To add the extra HD, remove the HD tray with a Phillips screw in the rear of the G3. That holds a clamp to hold the tray in the chassis. Look at the way the clamp is oriented to be OK when you reassemble.
