Yup, money talks. You might be right; Steve likes to feel more
powerful than that. Still, I hope that's not a big part of his
decision. Maybe he is just posturing? We'll find out in a few days.
Or that Apple is discussing different Intel chips altogether, such as
their Centrino wireless chipsets, or WiMAX.
CPU's aren't all that Intel makes!
FWIW, all I've read in the media is a lot of speculation by 'business
analysts' who wouldn't know a CPU if it ran up and bit them on the
butt, based on a single report back in May in the Wall Street Journal.
