Hi everyone,

Just install Tiger, it is a complete install, doesn't depend on
anything else being on the drive.
You don't need to wipe the drive, as the previous poster implies,
since you're not running any version of OS X on it now.
The only possible hassles:
Memory...OSX is notoriously pickier about RAM than OS 9, we've had a
number of folks come forward today telling their tales of weirdness
fixed by getting rid of bad ram. So if you have weirdness getting it
to install, try that first.
OS 9.... If you've been running OS 9 on it, you probably have a
nicely set up OS 9 environment. Unfortunately, nicely set up OS 9
native environments can be problematic Classic environments. I'd copy
my OS 9 System Folder to a new disk, and set the existing one to just
Apple extensions.
But this is only if you think you're going to be using Classic a lot.
