Sorry, the best you can do with a new Mac is to start classic mode in OSX. Apple dropped the ability to boot Macs into OS 9 around the MDD Dual 1.25 G4, iirc. No G5 or current G4 will boot into OS9.
And according to Apple, the intel Macs will not be able to run classic apps at all.
