Hahahaha, I have occasional "dain bramage" too when it comes to
remembering exactly what everyone on these lists is running. But to set
the record straight, presently I'm running 9.2.2 on my G3 (and 8.6 on
my
Powerbook 5300c).
Isn't it ironic -- I'm still too scared of OS X to seriously consider
trying THAT just yet, but I feel no qualms whatsoever about trying
Linux.
Am I psychotic or what? ;-)

Considering both are Unix variants, they are similar, but of course
Apple's OS X is much more polished than any run of the mill Linux
distro. Oops, I think I made a pun! Yeah it is hard to remember all
the details when you are on several lists. I try to catch the high
spots and respond if I have something semi-important to say. Good luck
with your Linux project. It can be a fun OS to explore.
Just a message from Doug...
