Hahahahahahahaha! ;-) However, I can see why I've managed to give people this impression...so, to set the record straight... No, I'm not "dead-set against" OS X on principle, I'm only against putting it on my Beige, because: Beiges and OS X are notorious for problems, especially Beige users who use their floppy drives and refuse to get rid of their ancient printers (like my Apple Personal LaserWriter 300) or stop using their "old" applications, and I'm scared to death of "ruining" a setup that's working great under 9.2.2 and is easily compatible with my Powerbook 5300c on 8.6, which I use in conjunction with the Beige. As to Ubuntu, I plan on putting it on a separate hard drive and keeping my Linux activities totally separate from my Mac OS activities. The stuff I want to do on Linux is totally different than what I do normally (for which I don't need to make any changes at all). ~Yersinia. ________ "Cat hair is attracted to and will adhere to anything except the cat." -- G-List is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
