I agree, we are not interested in alien viruses coming from Hyperspace, OTOH,getting back to the original post, although I wouldn't buy a new iBook, it is not because I believe it would be buggy or in any case not worthy, but because I have too much invested in PPC software. I think there is too much at stake for Apple to introduce a bad machine and I also believe that at Macworld you'll only get an announcement of machines coming in a couple of months or so, that has been true for the first G5s and the Quads. So, I wouldn't hold my breath to actually see an Apple i(ntel)Book until Feb- March. If Pablo's daughter doesn't have a lot of PPC software investments, I would however go for it, as it is, like it or not, going to be the future.
