Hi Tim,
I pretty much agree... my B&W is my main computer and I love OS X. I
have most of the applications I need running on the Mac. Still...
there are a couple programs that I can't find/afford for OS X, so I
still have a couple peecees skulking around the premises.
Windows on a Mac??? No way! Okay... I did install "Soft Windows" on
my 7600/200 and that was an exercise in =how slow can you go=? So, no
winderz on my Mac.
OS X on my peecee? I might like to see that. One of the peecees I
keep around is a P4-2.4GHz and I would like to see Tiger running on
that critter. Tiger runs so well on my B&W G3/4-450.

I just want to make a comment on this. I think the switch over to
Intel is a really good thing and only good things will follow. I
think we all pretty much agree on that now. But there is no way
I'd ever put Windows on a Mac even IF it had the ability to do it.
I switched to the Mac back in 2001 to GET AWAY FROM WINDOWS! Why
would I want to subject myself to that misery again? To tell you
the truth, I think I'd rather have somebody pound a nail into my
head than put Windows as an OS on my Mac. All this speculation on
"wow, I can't wait to see if Windows will run on my Intel based
Mac" is just stupid. I'll continue running whatever OS Apple puts
out. NO THANK YOU TO WINDOWS!
