I reload my 256MB Olympus weekly, as I listen intently to 2 mp3'ed CDs
(@ 256 bitrate) worth of Jazz Classics each week for my studies ... so
Dragging One File at a Time isn't very practical.

Dan ... Thanks for the suggestion of using Terminal CP command ... any
further hints on which parameters might give me what I need? It's a
little cryptic for me ... commands having something to do with VFAT
type adherence? copying folders?

Maybe Tiger/Leopard has stopped doing this in some way to optimize
their use of MS-DOS files, since you supposedly can emulate Windows on
the latest Intel Macs? ... iTunes 7.7.1 is acting up around file names.

I did save my Panther partition and could restart into that every time
I wanted to reload my player ... I believe it worked there most of the
time.

Alternatively, I could buy a decent Player that's truly Mac compatible,
one that also Records my live Piano lessons well ... any suggestions?
