I think I may have an answer . Not all AGP slots are the same . I
believe the Sawtooth has a 2x AGP slot . The slots look the same but
the cross pieces that match up with the slots in the card are in
different places . Given that you need to tape over some of the pins
on the Video card it must be a 4 or 8x card. This will work with some
machines but 4x & 8 x cards will not fit in a 2x slot sorry.
I now see your card has been cut to help it fit. Perhaps the cuts are
off just enough that the slots & pins don't match up correctly? Best
