It is probably no longer on the LaCie web pages if it is a few years old so all I can think of is that I have seen some of these mystery cases that required depressing the correct spot and sliding panels. That requires the box in hand and some Mfg's info or luck. I assume there are no obvious fasteners. so it is probably snap together either sliding panels or depress and lift. If you only care about Function a Hack-Saw always works.
