DVD-RAM is a little used format. It can be read AND written to at random just like a HD. It is NOT DVD-R, +R, -R/W nor +R/W. DVD-RAM came out before any of the other DVD recordable formats. Read-only for DVD-RAM is supported for those users who had a full DVD-RAM drive at one time and want to still be able to read their old disks. -- Clark Martin Redwood City, CA, USA Macintosh / Internet Consulting "I'm a designated driver on the Information Super Highway" --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed Low End Mac's G3-5 List, a group for those using G3, G4, and G5 desktop Macs - with a particular focus on Power Macs.
