I might try a few exorcisms on 10.5.6 first ... like removing the LCC
2.6.0 Scroll Enhancer ... then do the Surrender & Return to a Nuke &
Pave to 10.5.4.

Best way is to install my DVD Leopard version (10.5 Retail), then
download 10.5.4 Combo ?
http://www.apple.com/downloads/macosx/apple/macosx_updates/
macosx1054comboupdate.html

and resist which updates? 10.5.5, 10.5.6, Combos but not others like
Quicktime, iTunes, Safari, Security and Java?

I have an Oct 25 Time Machine backup ... but it has all "My Bad"
enhancement apps I was playing with, including the Zydas Wireless
drivers and such. Can't remember what version OS X probably 10.5.4,
and a quick look didn't reveal what Time Machine had there for me.

May be better to go with Nuke & Pave, if my exorcisms don't rid me of
the appropriate daemons (sic) ...

(Just read the 2 other e-mails ... THANKS .. My significant other of
12 years moved out a month ago ... if I become frustrated, guess I'll
just have to resort to petting the dog ...)

Almost afraid to say Pun Intended ....

Going for a walk ...
