Tried my MOTU Ethno CD (for the record, Ethno comes on two discs, an Installer CD for the application and plug-ins, and a DVD of the data sound banks for the tone programs) first, and it did the same thing - no go until I unplugged the Ethernet cable. I then tried the sound-bank DVD - booted up like a snap. Very odd indeed oh gurus! Best regards, Dana
